Apple Releases iOS 4.3

Home sharing seems a bit sluggish to me. Streaming from Mac to iPad. Tried a hd video and it stops and starts every couple of minutes, waiting an age for buffering.

I stream from Mac to AppleTV via HomeSharing all the time and it works great.

I could go for the home sharing. But I'm with verizon so it'll be awhile before I get 4.3 I don't really don't care for hotspot.

as long as I have an apple product I feel first class. not only do I have vzw I can also hear and stay connected with my family.

jailbreak ios 4.3

now can I update to iOS 4.3 and when the jailbreak comes I can jailbreak my iPhone 4?? or do I have to stay on 4.2.1 and wait for the jailbreak to come on 4.3?

While working great on my iPad, Home Sharing bites on the 3GS. Been here 10 minutes and haven't seen 30 seconds of video yet.

And no streaming of your Audible library.

If you still want the JB stay on 4.2.1 until the JB for 4.3 is released, then get the 4.3 update before you JB it.

my iphone isnt jailbroken at all,, so i wont loose anything right? i can be on 4.3 and i just have to wait for the jb?

Never mind. I found the option in the Music settings. All is golden here now.

I did the upgrade to iOS 4.3 last night and now my ring tones are screwed up, they don't ring as long as they use to they barely do ring now. The vibrate was pathetic enough before now it only vibrates about a nano second. Already done two complete resets.

Yes. That is sort of the whole idea.

Yes. It's the iTunes acct that matters, not the machine. If both are logged into your iTune acct, then you can share content between them. Macs. PCs. it doesn't maatter.

Currently i use PDAnet(same sort of thing as MyWi) becuase i wanted to tether my connection and not pay the extra 20 dollars to use the feature in the phone. Does this hotspot feature also come working assuming that you pay the extra fee to "enable" internet sharing or is this just open to anyone now that wants to use it with their iphone?

Hotspot is an extra charge for both Verizon and AT&T
