Let's see what they got for us.

M3?

Increased RAM in the base models? :)

I have a Macbook Air M2 (base model) and actually don't need more. It would be nice to have 16 GB RAM, but ok.

Definitely some M3 Macs. But which ones? (iMac is overdue for an update, and the Air isn't in need of more than an M1 for 90% of users.)

Well since I just got a Mac, of course they’ll release new macs!

I got the beast M2max Mac Studio from refurb so I got a great price as it is, so it’s not likely going anywhere anytime soon. Though, I’m within my 14 days and I’ll be watching Monday, just in case it’s something I must change my mind on.

And if there is, I'll bet the price for any of the new models changes quite drastically from the more reasonable price you paid for your model. ;-)

If you decide to avail yourself of the f4 day return to purchase a new beast may I suggest an alternative? You could instead trust certain recent retirees to find a good home for it and make a charitable donation. :) 🙏

Unfortunately, there is no Canadian credit given for charitable donations to US-based organizations or retirees. Nice thought though. ;)

If you have reached the level of "moderate" you are doing better than most musicians I've known. :)
