Why?

Build a new PC for my dad and want to install Windows 10 on it. What I get are Macs at home. However, it is not a pleasant experience when getting started.

Boot Camp Assistant failed, copying files error at the end of process.

dd command failed. 100% copied but USB not seen as bootable device during boot up.

Rufus has no Mac version.

Wasted hours to test out the free apps but ends up nothing. And i can see a lot of people complaining about Bootcamp in here. If you want to save time on this and UUByte is a decent alternative to those so-called free apps. However, you need to pay a few bucks for that.

My Recommendation: UUByte ISO Editor for Mac ($29.95)

Download link: https://www.uubyte.com/download/uubyte-iso-editor.dmg

Test device:
  • MacBook Pro Late 2013
  • Windows 10 1809 ISO
  • SanDisk Extremely Pro USB 3.1
Time: 13 Mins

Test result: Success

p.s you have to create a new partition for Windows if you want to dual boot with Mac.

Lastly, hope this helps!
