Friends switched from Android to iPhone 12 Pro Max, and kept same number. It's updated to 14.2.1 They used Verizon Transfer App for everything, and they are having problems with their contacts. I can't get my phone to recognize theirs as an iPhone, even though I deleted their phone numbers and re-entered them as iPhones. I made sure to include the area code. I'm sure the issue is on my end, but maybe not? Any ideas please?

Make sure your friends are using iCloud to sync their contacts. They probably will also have to make sure their new iPhone 12 is listed with their Apple ID.

Not much you can do on your end as it's likely what they are not doing on their end. ;)

Thank you. Glad to know it's not my iPhone's fault!
