You know you're going bald when it takes you longer to wash your face in the mornings :)

That is a good one.
I have soo much hair (woman) that I can spare for at least 10 people.
I have been thinking to let my hair grow long enough to donate it to a program where they make wigs for people with cancer.

Good thinking JT :)
I'm sure I've read of places in America that accept it for childrens wigs. Nice thought.

I'm the same mine is halfway down my back but full of colours and split ends - length ways I mean, not actually growing from my back just incase anyone *Todd* misreads :D

How is it that the older of my two brothers has a very receding hairline - been noticeable for 8 to 10 years - while the younger has lost no hair? They are only 3 years apart in age.

lol @ the Harry Hill - Fiiiiiiggghhhttttt!! comment fluffer! i sure do love his TV burps.

Nowt wrong with a bit o' baldness chaps, it's what's on the inside that counts after all! I certainly have no issues with it, my last boyfriend had a questionable hairline but he was still very attractive. Life's too short to worry about the stuff growing up top in my opinion. Just don't ask me to shave mine off :closed:

I started going bald early on. Went straight for the clippers. I have a Wahl Baldfader clipper set which is really good and keep it a No 1 or no comb. Recently though I have gone for the razor. And no not for the wrists!!! Every3rd day I shave bald as a badger in the shower, and for those of you with smutty minds, it my head that I'm talking about.
Save a fortune on hair products and grooming fees. Very cold the first winter though and be careful in the sun......burns and peels easily and a peeling head besides look dreadful, is very hard to shave! :D

I hear ya, brother. When I was young, I had a full head of thick hair. Even though my father was gray and bald by 25, I always thought I wouldn't have to worry about it since my mom told me that my grandfather (on her side) died with a full head of hair.

I'm now 29 and my hair is thinning dramatically above my forehead. I can actually see my scalp clearly when I bow my head. I've had a number of people comment about it. Fortunately there's still hair there because I know I have bad scars in that area from having been mauled by a dog as a kid. I guess I really can't shave it without those scars being really apparent.

I honestly don't know what I'll do about it. I can certainly sympathize with your situation.

I am 20 and I have a receding hairline, a bald spot, and my hair is getting thinner and weaker.

Any tips? I am thinking either just deal with it or start shaving the hair real short...or try something stupid like shampoos or herbal things.

UGH!

Any tips???? NO, just live with it:spook:

Just a side note, when my wife was having chemo that made her fall out, we looked like Uncle Fester twins.
Hair is like money, you don't miss it till its gone, but it won't make you happy either.

Maybe hair doesn't make males happy, MadDoG? When my hair is past collar-bone length, I'm pretty-darn happy!

Shave it. No, really. There's at least one guy that I semi-know, talk to every once in awhile, sometimes sit with at meals. Never really thought of him at really attractive, or my type, or whatever. Then one day he showed up to class with his head shaved, and I pretty much did a double take and barely restrained myself from jumping him right then and there.

Ok, well, at least the double take part was true. I totally looked him up and added him on facebook just because of how hot he looked.

Same's true for one of my profs - when came in one day with a shaved head, rather than his usual receding hairline/blad spot, he looked at least 5-10 years younger.

=)

Ah yes but hair for women is a different thing IMHO. Its part of their being women. I had long hair (well collar length when I was playing football) but hair is not who I am, its just decoration....curtains around the window if you like.

Maybe shaving my head was me doing a Final Cut Pro....lolol

Those good genes went to only one brother.

Lol, Talin!

Guys with buzz cuts are sexier to me than the shaved heads ~ I like the texture!

Whatever you do, don't blame your dad. According to the linked article, it's your mother's fault.

I have my fathers hair......my mother has plenty.
