OS X 10.5.3

After so many minutes on Youtube, everything freezes, including the scroll bar. The audio continues though. When I set the arrow on a video listing, it doesn't highlight and when I click on it, it doesn't open but I hear audio. Have Perian and updated Adobe flash player. This started happening about a month or so ago and I noticed Youtube changed the viewing format.

Hmmm...

Perhaps you could try to reset safari. In the menu bar, go to safari/Reset Safari (you can choose what parts you want to reset, and which parts you want to keep.) Just make sure that you have these three items selected:

Another thing you could try is to download safari and re-install it.

Resetting didn't work. Can't update Safari cause it needs to update OS and risk messing up ProTools. downloaded Firefox. That seems to work so far. Thanks.

Ok, but why can't you update your OS? Sounds kind of fishy to me...

Don't have versions off hand but anyway, to update Safari, I need to update OS with it and current Pro Tools version (7.4.2) is tested up to OS x 10.5.3. Beyond that, it may have problems. Pro Tools is very finicky. So far I have no problems on Firefox so it must be a browser thing.
