I own an iMac (Early 2008); Processor: 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo; Memory: 6 GB; Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256 MB; OS X Yosemite 10.10.1. I recently installed Final Cut Pro X, and it runs without an issue, despite not having a proper graphic's card... according to Apple. Now, I'm trying to install Compressor 4, but I keep getting this error message: "You can’t use this version of the application “Compressor” with this version of OS*X. You have “Compressor” 4.0." The only fix I could find, was to go into Compressor's "Package Contents" and force it to run with terminal. I tried that, only to get another error message saying: "Compressor cannot be opened because of a problem." I've spent far too much time trying to figure out how to make this work. Does ANYONE out there have any advice??
