[QUOTE="bumbleboo, post: 1669422, member: 46838"] Sorry been off the air for three days due to a major fault with Telekom cables, it is driving me crazy! Our area had a break down at the beginning of July for 7 day days, no apology at all! Ok my flash drive pens are all recognised and work fine but when I plug in my TomTom USB cable to the MBP the SatNav fires up in that it shows it is charging and the touch screen is activated but the device does not show up on Finder and also TomTom Home and MyDrive cannot see it! I have the latest updates too. A further great annoyance is that after driving back from Spain, an 1870 km journey when the machine was used, I unplugged it from the car since we were not using it around town, for at least three weeks. We suddenly needed it for a two day journey and when I switched it on there was the screen message "No Maps Available" reinstall a map you already own or go to TomTom and buy one"!!! This machine is still under guarantee! I had no time to do this so grabbed my old TomTom 700 and it fired up no prob and off we went! I am still annoyed about all the maps on the new SatNav disappearing and since it won't connect to my laptop I can't restore from the backups! I think I'll just go and have a cry in my beer!!!
