Yosemite Mail Issue

I use to be able to select several email addresses from my contacts list by just holding down the CMD-Key and clicking on each one with my mouse. Once they were selected I could just drag them to the "To" section of mail or just copy and paste. In Yosemite Mail I cannot do that. There is a '+' icon in the "To" section of mail that brings up your contacts, but no way to select multiple email addresses at one time. Any one else experience this and is there a fix or am I missing something? Thanx in advance.
