Yosemite issues

just updated to yosemite. safari didn't update , but i read it should be automatic. how could this be?
secondly, audio no longer works on various web sites with safari, fine on chrome. any ideas?

Check which version of Safari is installed. It should be 8.0 if you're running Yosemite. Safari is installed and updated along with Yosemite. if audio is not working on some sites with Safari you may have gotten a bad install.

i could have sworn i upgraded to yosemite a few days ago, the my audio stopped. now i just checked and the OS is 10.8.5 while Safari is V 6!

confused..

(it was a Facebook issue that required me to upgrade thew OS - that now works,.,I Must have updated something...
