Yep i photo is dead thinking your going to go back to iPhoto if you don't like photos in yosemite you are in for a shock you can't.
Even worse photo's is a part of the yosemite o.s so you can't even delete it if you wanted to.
If you try it says Photo is required by the o.s and cannot be removed.
And if you try to keep and run iPhoto it says a update is required for the application to function but after you install mac os x yosemite 10.3 you will notice you cannot download or reinstall iPhoto because the same error message pops up.
