I just downloaded Seamonkey 2.11 (latest stable version) on OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard, not Lion). It is quite similar to Netscape (same Mozilla engine, after all), may even be more smooth (better) to use. Seems quite promising. :D The webpage indicates that Seamonkey 2.13 will be Lion compatible. The current beta version is 2.12 B2. Sigh :(:( Si I gave it a try on Lion (OS 10.7), and downloaded the stable 2.11 on a separate Lion computer (my wife's, really, with an account reserved for me, but without any of my software used for webdesign). It works, and seems to work allright. Maybe, after all Kompozer may also work on Lion while stating the opposite. I now know I will first give a chance to Seamonkey, because I am already used to it, by my experience with Netscape 7. I will look into their forum or something and keep this thread posted.
