What are you looking to spend, what kind of specs are you looking for?

I might be able to get one for you.

Well, specs aren't important, nor condition.
The battery doesn't even have to hold a charge.
As long as it boots and comes with the AC Adapter.
I just need something for my little computer project in August.
So if anyone has something... please let me know.

Thanks,
-funkytoad

You might check with Powermax in Portland (or scout out links on lowendmac.com). Powermax doesn't list any pre-G3 machines on their website, but I'd give them a call. They might be able to track something down for you.

You'll be paying a lot more than you will on eBay though (yes you said you didn't want to go that route, but you could buy ten Powerbooks on eBay at $10 each and at least one of them would work -- I'd bet you'll pay more than $100 from a retailer for a reconditioned Powerbook).
