WTB: ibook G3 12inch battery and airport card

my brother has a G3 500mhz 12in ibook and hes wanting to get a new battery, since its toast, and an airport card. anyone?

took a look at the link Mike... so are the G3 12 inch and G4 12 inch of the same specs and they work in both machines reguardless if it came from a G3 or G4?

As for iBook battery, the battery works just fine for both G3 and G4 batteries, it just lasts longer than the standard Apple battery. After consulting with Harry Muto (the owner of Vintage Computer Inc), he says that there is one thing to consider: The early iBook G3 has a Crystal white color, and the later G3 and iBook G4 have an Opaque White color. FastMac iBook battery has an Opaque White color, so the color does not match your G3 500mhz 12in ibook. :black:

But most G3s these days are a mix-and-match lot anyway. I would say only 1 in 4 of the ibooks that come through our door has a matching battery (be it plastic cover or foot color).
