Maybe NVRAM and SMC resets? I don't know if they were mentioned in a previous post, just mentioning them in case they weren't/

Edit: Have you set up a new user account to see if the mouse behaves differently under separate accounts? Even if you have multiple accounts on your Mac, a new account my indicate a different issue?

It can't hurt to try, but I don't think it affects the Mouse settings, especially with a NVRAM/PRAM Reset:
