Hi

I have set up Windows sharing between my PC and my MAC. Everything works fine - i can successfully transfer files between the two. However, the address that I need to enter on my pC to access my MAC keeps changing -the digits keep slightly changing by themselves. Is there a way to stop this? I can see the address that I need to use by clicking on system preferences and then sharing.

How are you set up? In other words, Are your PC and Mac connected by a crossover cable, Hub, Switch, Router, ETC. Which one?
