I got accepted for the windows home server beta. I'm going to toss it on a Dell desktop at the house and see how it runs. I'll also see if there's any mac compatibility at all.
I have two 150gb drives so I'll format one to FAT 32 and see if there's not a way to connect the MBP for print sharing and file storage.
