Windows Bootcamp Storage Issue

I freshly installed windows on my macbook air through bootcamp, and upon installation i check the storage and it says i already used up about 90% of it! what is going on here... and how can i free up some space.

i already bought camptune to increase actual harddrive memory. but what im saying is the memory in my harddrive is already used up without doing anything or installing anything on windows. i freshly installed it through bootcamp. nothing else done, and checked my storage and it says ive used up almost all the memory without installing anything

I think Harry understood that.I think that's why he asked how big a partition was created. If the partition was too small to begin with the Windows installation could have taken up 90% of the space even without additional software. I can attest it this from experience.

How large is the total space available on your MacBook Air? How much of the space is devoted to the Boot Camp partition?

BTW Camp Tune doesn't give you more space it merely allows you to shift/adjust the amount of space devoted to the Boot Camp partition.

You mean you have used up nearly all the hard drive space available. I did follow this hence the question how big is the BootCamp partition. If the MBA came with a small SSD, say 128GB, it is really not big enough. Using Yosemite my iMac with no Itunes nor Movies, and about 50 photographs in iPhoto and only current email messages stored the iMac uses 210MB for EFI, 650MB in the Recovery partition and just on 50GB for the Yosemite operating system.

It could be Windows 7 will use up tp 30GB, after formatting the partition and installing BootCamp drivers etc. That does not leave too much for a small hard drive.
