Wait what woah!! <wipes sweat from forehead> $40??? so wait, to recap before I buy up this bad boy: that link you sent is notebook ram, I have a desktop 24" iMac core 2 duo intel macintosh. You can view it here: http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wa/RSLID?nnmm=browse&mco=CFF34D5F&node=home/desktop/imac My mac takes DDR2 SDRAM, the stick that's in it is 667 MHZ. Apple.com lists the ram requirements as : * PC2-5300 * unbuffered * nonparity * 200-pin * 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM ok, so, I'm not questioning you, it's just that I have a bad bad habit of buying incompatible parts. Beyond a shadow of a doubt that linked stick of ram will work with my mac? Cuz if so, I am snapping it up in a heartbeat, thanks by the way for finding it. And if there's no diff b/w the $150 sticks of 1 gig ram labeled "macintosh desktop ram" and those labeled "macintosh notebook ram", then why are they labeled differently and why is there such a HUGE price difference?
