I'm starting a contract job soon. They are going to be sending me a PC. Will my Mac wireless mouse run on the PC if they don't send a moue? What about the Mac wireless keyboard? Will that run wirelessly? How about if I plug the keyboard into the PC laptop? If I do that, would I need an adaptor?

Yes they will both work using bluetooth. If you use the USB cord with the keyboard you should not need an adapter, unless the winOS PC only has USB-C ports. If so, then you can get a USB-C to Lightning cable.

You shouldn't have any issues unless the PC is old enough to use a dongle for Bluetooth. Some of these can be iffy with the Apple keyboard/mouse. Built-in Bluetooth works pretty reliably.

The Apple keyboard/mouse/trackpad are all standard Bluetooth devices and will work with anything that supports BT. What you'll likely need to do is some key mapping to between the Mac keyboard layout and Windows layout.
