Occasionally I lose connection to my wireless network. So I turn off the airport card and then turn it back on and it recconects. I've never had this problem on my dell laptop or my pda, does anyone know what the cause could be? I'm going through a couple of walls so is it possible the airport card isn't as strong as the wireless cards in my other 2 devices?

I think it's just that the range isn't so good with MBP's or PB's compared with other laptops because of the aluminium casing, certainly my friends MB has much better wireless range than my PB...

I don't know. Reception on my MBP has been fine and there have been a couple times when my MBP can pick up a signal that my friends can't on their Dell or Lenovo.

Did you discover it happening after you updated your firmware? Alot of wireless issues have been occurring in the MBP's because of a bug in the firmware.

True.

I've heard a lot about that too. My Macbook has been having the same exact problem being described. It's really a hassle and something that needs to be fixed really soon.
