Hay all :D

I have brought the TV-OUT for my MacBook but I can only get 4:3 resolutions :( I have had a search on the net and can't find any information about getting 16:9 resolutions out of it.

I am assuming that it isn't possible, but thought I would ask the worldly people here :D

Did you use the "Detect Displays" function under System Preferences -> Displays? If your TV uses DDE to communicate what resolutions it's capable of, clicking that button should yield you an available widescreen resolution choice in the list of resolutions.
