Ever since I downloaded Yosemite a few days ago, when I open a folder, sometimes the images content are right there, and sometimes the folder appears empty. When it appears empty, if I leave it open, within a minute, or two, or sometimes 10 minutes, the folder will populate itself. Sometimes not. I depend on my images and do not work solely from iPhoto. I use file folders for my images also. Any suggestions? I must say, so far I am very, very underwhelmed with Yosemite. Long lag times, with something as simple as opening a folder? I have tried all the suggestions I have seen online. I repaired the registry, used clean my mac 2, tried re-booting, etc. I am at my wits end with Yosemite. Feels really half baked.
