Why is the blurry text on the new Yosmite?

Hey Guys. I have installed Yosmite on an mid 2010 iMac. I realized that some of the text in some applications appears to be blurry. Anyone know why or has been experiencing the same issue?

This is a widespread issue. Yosemite introduced a new system default font that doesn't go so well with non-retina displays. The best you can do is either use a retina display (which, as you'll know, is not something you can just have) or hope that Apple pushes out a fix for those of us without retina displays.

oh i see. That doesn't make sense there are so many products that don't have retina displays, and apple just started making Retnia on lapops and desktops... I hope they come out with a fix soon
