I have playstation 2, with Final Fantasy X being my favorite. Im not very good with games where I have to be co-ordinated, I guess its cause I am of the female variety :) My only problem is finding other games that I can actually play without giving up after an hour ...

moving out of the house meant letting go of the PS2 since it wasnt actually 'mine'. I do have my own NES, SNES and Atari which i play frequently. Im building up my game collection again. You wouldn't believe how many people come over and play Dr. Mario for 4 hours straight, and then play Frogger on Atari. Although I do miss my Tony Hawk games

This might look like a good place to post a question that's been bugging me: Do Final Fantasy games work on a modified PS2? I wouldn't want to spend 30 bucks on FFX and find out I just threw my money away.

My roommate owns all 3: Xbox, PS2, and Gamecube. That's assuming you don't count the Nintendo, Super Nintendo, N64, Dreamcast, and Sega Genesis sitting in the closet collecting dust.

TROOPER - if you're PS2 is modified simply to play burned games and/or japanese version games, any version (US, Japan, burned) of FFX should work. And it's a great game too.

Final Fantasy X isn't THAT great. It's overall a fun game to play, but the story and acting is weak. The story is obviously a rip on Christianity, but not done well. I mean, Sin means SIN! Jeez, who would have thought of that!? And the Crusaders are like the Crusades! WOW! Seriously, it's just...dumb. It's not that I take offense to it (as I'm actually not even Christian, but Jewish), but the story is just weak and poor, and the romance...has been done better before. Like in FFIX or FFVII. And the voice acting was pretty bad. The woman who played Yuna was awful, James Arnold Taylor as Tidus did a pretty bad job too, but John DiMaggio (Bender on Futurama, as well as many other roles) did a good job as always. If you want a good Final Fantasy, play FFVI, FFVII, or FFIX. All are available for the Playstation (PS2 not required).
