Hi, i come from a Windows background but im about to get a 12" Powerbook with extra gig of ram mainly for use of Final Cut and Photoshop. But for my uni studies i wish also to use the Powerbook. So where can i start to look for OS X version of software that i would normally use for Windows? Some programs that i definately use for uni is Eiffel Studio, Sybase, Jbuilder, and Oracle 9i.
thanks

JBuilder is not on Mac if I remember right. If it is everyone uses XCode anyway. As for the rest I've never seen them on Mac. My school uses JBuilder but the beauty of Java is that it integrates well on any OS. I use XCode at home and take my files to school for JBuilder. Works out perfect.
