Where are my folders?

hi, just got a new mac book pro new to mac. I've managed to find the location of my imported iPhotos but I'm unable to find my users folder? how do I get at it please?

I'm not quite sure what you mean, because your iPhoto photos will be stored in your user folders...

Anyway, if you open up Finder and go into preferences. On the 'Sidebar' tab, make sure 'Hard disks' is checked. You can then click on this, and it will bring up a series of folders, one of which should be 'users'.

Chuckoir, perfect.. it feels like a blind fold has been removed and I can now see my files.. sorry for asking such basic questions I've been a pc user for too long.. I love this new mac and I'm figuring it out slowly.. I love the way you can full screen a window and then just swipe it out of the way with 3 fingers. perfect.. thanks buddy much appreciated.

I only switched over to Mac a month ago, so it's all a bit new still, but if I see someone on here having a similar problem to what I had then I'm happy to pass on the little knowledge I've learned!
