Ooh I disagree!;)

Go to Taco Bell...at $.89 cents each you could get 11 Beefy 5-Layer Burritos. At 550 calories each...that would be a total of 6050 calories.

A male that is 6'3" & 260lbs needs around 2600 calories/day. So 11 Beefy 5-Layer Burritos at a total of 6050 calories would be approx. 2.3 days worth of calories (or enough calories for 7 separate meals).

So $10.00 would be MORE than enough for 1 lunch at Taco Bell!:)

I'm a little concerned that you know the nutritional information of TB products so well. ;)

Even if you don't like Taco Bell...I'm sure $10.00 at Burger King or McDonald's could satisfy you for one lunch.

But if we eliminate fast food restaurants for this $10.00 lunch...then I certainly agree that $10.00 bucks wouldn't go to far at a "sit-down" restaurant!:)

Three reasons:

- the obvious one is I eat there probably once/week
- I'm a Food Scientist...with an interest in such things
- I'm a marathon runner & need to make sure I'm getting enough calories (of course they don't have to come from Taco Bell);)

To get back on topic (I'm getting hungry just reading these replies)..... :Smirk:

Looks like a good way to recover your Mac if it should ever get absconded by the bad guys. Definitely a must for university or college students.

Thanks for the info Clay.

Regards.

Definitely lunch. I'm feeling Mexican today. Good thing I live in Southern California, no short supply of Mexican food option here! :D

I like that you tried that. In fact, you seem highly suggestible. I bet you can fit $1000 into an envelope and mail it out to me - I suggest you try it and let me know how it works.

Ooh man...I hope you're kidding!!! I know slamming down 8.5 of those burritos is possible...but you wouldn't believe the amount of fat, calories, and salt that would add up to.

If you ate 8.5...what happened to that last 1/2 burrito...saving it for later??;)

Yeah of course in my earlier calculation (11 burritos for under $10 bucks)...didn't leave any room for a "beverage". So hopefully since you only purchased 9 burritos...that you had enough money for a drink...and still got lunch for under $10!:)

Ready for more burritos yet!;)

- Nick

p.s. Don't forget "4th Meal" at Taco Bell!:)
