I currently use a ReplayTV to record TV programs on my desktop computer at home. I then use Windows XP software to transfer the programs to the desktop computer. I copy the files to my Windows XP laptop and use BeyondTV to watch the shows. I like BeyondTV because I can skip ahead 30 seconds at a time by pressing the period key and I can rewind 6 seconds by pressing the comma. When I get my Macbook, is there a program that I can use to watch the MPEG files full-screen and has a shortcut key to jump 30 seconds ahead and 6 seconds back (or something like that). Oh yeah, and the spacebar to pause. I guess what I'm looking for is a program that I don't have to use the mouse to navigate.
