I have been thinking of making a change from pc-mac since my hp has been losing it for quite a while now, and I'm looking to find something better. My question is: Why is the best processor offered for the powerbooks only 1.5 ghz? I'm not familiar with macs at all and am by no means an expert w/ pcs either. I was just wondering if the 1.5 ghz has an equivalent to an intel or amd, or is it just less powerfull? Hopefully this made a little bit of sense. Thanks in advance.
