What aftermarket programs could YOU not live without on your Mac?

iMac 17", Intel Core Duo
No one mentioned Perian? Makes QuickTime useful, and practically eliminates the need for VLC for playback (which in my experience is quite unstable. YMMV however).

Other than that:
Transmission - simple BitTorrent client.

I've never used it, haven't had a mac in awhile so looking forward to trying it out.

never used perian either, looks really interesting considering VLC is a peice of dogpoo on Macs.

Any recommend for a good DVD player with features? I never used my prior ibook for dvd playback but I will be using this next one alot (9 hr plane rides :p)
