I recently resolved an issue regarding mavericks due to the help of you guys, but now Im on round 2. So I installed yosemite on a 250gb partition on my mid 2010 mbp, apparently yosemite decided to hide my 10.6 partition and turn it into a "install drive" and i can no-longer boot to it without it acting as if it is a Yosemite install DVD (it even renamed it to Install Drive).

I will update if i find a fix

Now that I have deleted the Yosemite .dmg file and restarted a few times the issue has resolved itself.

Something was done wrong as I have done it 20 times now and my 10.6 never disappeared nor turned into an Install drive.
