You might want to check the MSN support site as that message may actually be a malware popup.

I don't know if Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac would catch and destroy it but might be worth trying. It sure won't hurt anything to try and you can get it here:

So it looks like the suggested software will work for Macs now that they have a working version.

Adobe has been releasing updates to Flash more frequently. That might be it. You should be able to see a Flash preference pane in System Preferences. Use that to check for a Flash update and if you need it, install it. (Most of them contain security updates, which Flash desperately needs.)
