is vsearch good or is there a better search engine?

vsearch doesn't seem to be just a search engine in the classic sense, at least not as I understand it. If you don't have a problem with data mining software monitoring your searches, Google is the big boy on the block. If tracking is an issue for you, DuckDuckGo seems to work quite well. I use that exclusively, no issues not finding what I'm looking for.
