I recorded a video on my iPhone 13. It shows up in the list and you can scroll thru it manually but it won't play. Any ideas on how to make it play?

Thanks. I'll check it out. I discovered I can transfer the video to my Mac and play it with Quicktime. This indicates it is salvageable. Unfortunately, I have too be able to play it on my iPhone to do some post-processing.

It turns out these seem only to apply to a situation where no videos play. I can play all but one. I tried duplicating it and that didn't work. I tried transferring it to your Mac and it looked like it would play in Qiucktime but it stopped half way thru. I'm gong to try truncating the Quicktime video where it freezes, transfer the clipped part back to my iPhone and they playing that. It might work unless my post-processing app needs the entire video.

Using Trim in Quicktime I discovered this video seems to be corrupted. I was able to save some of it in a playable form but couldn't get eveything I want. I'm guessing whatever corrupted the file probably can't be corrected.

Maybe have a look at the available options and give those a try that may be able to rescue nearly in a video and see if any of them will work:

I have no experience with any of their claims or if they could probably fix your problem but just a thought and an idea for a possible solution.
