VGA resolution problem

I am currently using the mini display port to VGA adapter to use my 32" Samsung tv as a monitor. However, I can't get the optimum resolution. My tv tells me to use 1360x768 @60hz but this option isn't available. I am forced to use 1280x768 @60hz and the horizontal is a bit off. Is there anyway to get max resolution or fix this problem or anything?
