Or you can copy/paste this on a document folder and paste to the terminal: sudo sh /etc/daily and change every week to /weekly, every month to /monthly

I have used DiskWarrior, TechTool and Norton's Utilities for years. I feel that DiskWarrior is a necessity. It does only one thing but it will repair and recover a disk when the others have failed. With the improvement in Apple's disk utility the other two are less important for basic repairs but I still feel TechTool is important. It has many features and functions that take it far beyond the basics of Disk Utility. Norton's has not had a major upgrade in years and Symantec has announced that it will not be developed any further. You might find it at discount prices but don't expect it to be updated to work with future systems.
