Using Wine - Insert correct CD

Trying to run Black & White 2 (a pc game with wine) I managed to install it but to run the game it wants me to insert the correct cd. Please help?

I run the launcher with wine. The game loader works. I click play and it says please insert the correct cd rom, select OK and restart application. The CD is already in the drive but I think wine can't find the disc or something? I don't know...

I believe all I had to do is use Wine Configuration to locate the disc, however, i am having trouble locating where that disc is

The problem likely is that the game uses a form of copy protection by requiring the original game DVD to be in the DVD drive in order to verify that you purchased the game. In the case of many older games, some of the game's files don't get copied to the hard drive and instead stay on the DVD to preserve drive space. Most likely, the only way you'll be able to get this running is to use a no-cd crack to bypass that copy protection, but we can't help you in this regard due to forum rules.

As LAB says, this was to prevent multiple users of the game. Many are like this ! the CD/DVD has to be inserted and runf or the game to play.
