When I set up my Apple ID and apple mail I used an originating email address that is tied to my business (myname @mybusiness.com). I am selling the business and transferring control of the website over to the new owner. So he will also control the email accounts. Can I keep using the iCloud email address even if I delete the original email account? What about my apple ID? Help please.

You can keep the iCloud email address since that's assigned only to you. However, if that iCloud address includes your former business name, it's probably best to change it. As for your Apple ID that's tied to your former business, you definitely should change that.
