Some solutions to being permanently locked out of your Apple ID You are welcome. Glad to help. By the way if you get locked out of your Apple ID, like I did, and your other Apple devices like iPhone, iPad etc are stuck with "Find my iPhone" turned on, typically you cannot turn it off without your password (which in my case, I did not have) But there is a solution. You can call Apple Customer support and submit to them proof of purchase for your iDevices, and they can unlock your "find my iPhone" on your devices from that old Apple ID, although it will still look like it is on, on your device. It took about a week for them to do that for my iPhone and iPad. But then, when you change your Apple ID on your computer, you will have to restore your other i-devices to factory settings to connect them to that new Apple ID (unless you guys know another way to do it:). And that means losing all the apps etc you purchased with the old ID. Of course you don't need to do that if you are happy not updating your iOS or Apps. Hope that info helps someone. Maybe I should have posted this somewhere else on the Forums.
