Hi...

In the old days you could submerse a keyboard in water to soak out any sticky stuff. Surprisingly enough this would often work, given a proper drying out time.

I have a clear plastic and white key Apple USB keyboard http://www.synaptech.com/catalog/images/661-2939.gif that I'd think needs a good soaking. Do these keyboards hold up to this counter intuitive cleaning?

Possibly. However, before trying the soaking\drying method make sure you have a spare keyboard on hand - just in case! :D

Regards.

I'm not sure about the new ones, but in the net cafe I worked in we had the old coloured ones that matched the imacs, and they got soaked in coffee daily and still battled on... god I miss those things.
