Are all USB turntables compatible with Mac Desktops or are there only certain brands and/or models which are? And what about software bundles that may or may not be included with the tables? I'm seeking a model with a software bundle that takes care of the scratches, clicks and pops of vinyl.

I used to get asked about this all the time. However, at this point, most users have long-since migrated away from vinyl records.

Have a look at this article:

How to Transfer LP Records to Your Mac

As you can see in the article, you can download FREE, excellent software to take care of cleaning up your recordings, such as Audacity

or ION's EZ Vinyl:

You can peruse Amazon for USB turntables, look at the reviews and see if they are listed as Macintosh compatible. If they don't say, you can contact the manufacturer(s) and ask:

I have an Audio-Technica and it works just fine on both my older iMac and newer M1 iMac. Agree with Randy that Audacity is an excellent software to go along with the conversions.
