USB 2.0 for Clamshell?

I'm REALLY fixated on getting a clamshell but my one worry is that I can't seem to get USB 2.0 on it, which you kinda need for ipods:)another obsession of mine

So I was wondering does anyone know of a device that you plug into a firewire port to get a USB 2.0 socket? anything else is welcome
