Upgrading the hard drive

what brand do you guys recommend me?any links to any specific one? the installation process would it be easy? i have change many time the hard drive on my G5, and my old G4 but never on a laptop, nad also i have 30 gig of music, im planning on getting an
80g HD, would the remaining 50g would be ok for me? i also found thios one;

that i think its ok for the price, would the ibook handle 120g? or is it a bit overkill?


i mostly planing on using this laptop, for personal stuff, MSN, picture, internet, games. since i use the G5 for work and i honestly dont plan to run Final Cut on the G3 ibook with 800mhz, it would be slow as ****!

IMO i wouldnt get anything under 100GB. As inexpensive as HD are now, to me just seems worth the $$$. I up my MB from a 80GB to a 120GB. I also do alot of photography work so i needed the space. I say do it!!

120 gb by seagate sata drive will do just fine...

Western Digital is the way to go. When I purchased my FIRST computer, this was the LAST thing that got upgraded. In fact it is still running as storage for my FTP server. They don't die. Check out http://www.newegg.com they should have what you are looking for.

Avoid MAxxtor at all costs. I don't care what the price is, don't use them. I can tell you from personal experience that they don't hold up to the competition.
