Update new Air 2 to IOS 8.2?

Hi,
New iPad Air 2 owner, (very first iPad, actually). It shipped with IOS 8.1, and now wants to update to 8.2. Is 8.2 ready for prime time? I do not want to screw up things so soon ;-).

8.2 hasn't even been released to the public yet. The most recent version available to the public is 8.1.2. 8.2 is still in beta testing.

What ^^^^ said! But if the upgrade is 8.1.2 it is safe to upgrade. I have on my mini and so have lots of others. I haven't seen anyone complaining of problems.

This is a minor update addressing some 'bug fixes' (which are not clearly explained) and an issue w/ ringtones - more information HERE.

If you're not having an issue w/ your new iPad, then maybe a moot point for you but still your decision - I had an iPad 2 and now since early December, and iPad Air 2 which has been updated to 8.1.2 - noticed no differences. Dave
