Hello all!
I have a MacBook Pro with OSX Lion 10.7.2. On my MacBook I also use Microsoft Office 2011 and never had a problem until recently.
I have many excel files I use and edit/save etc. Recently these horrible files have been showing up on my Desktop called "2943A200" or "A11D2400" with the icon of an excel file. They seem to show up when I edit existing files which are saved on my desktop. I cannot move them, I cannot delete them, I cannot get the info, I cannot do anything with them.
Obviously, doing my research first, I wanted to attempt the "sudo rm" commands but I cannot find the file directory for these files. I tried dragging the files in the Terminal page but nothing happened. Scared of deleting things that shouldn't be deleted, I didn't do anything. I also thought maybe they were hidden files, but my hidden files are hidden.
I am at a loss and these files are terribly annoying. Please help.
Thanks
