Hi,
Just a couple of hours after doing an update for Ventura on my iMac I looked in the Bin and found a Folder named :- “ Recovered files “ and inside is a File called :- “ com.apple.CoreGraphics.plist.ymBSsNU “, I have no idea where it came from or what it was used for, Any advice would be appreciated as I have no idea what to do with it.
Regards,
John S.

It is commonplace for "recovered files" to be seen in the Bin. I would say that this is seen after at least 50 per cent of updates/upgrades.

I always empty the bin.

No doubt others will explain the circumstances of their origin.

But I've not heard of anyone wishing they hadn't binned it.

Just my perspective.

I’ve been “binning” the Recovered Items folder for several years now and never had any problems afterwards.
