Unable to upgrade to High Sierra (from El Capitan)

Hi I'm trying to update my OS and it's saying no updates available. I updated everything that was available first, restarted the computer, checked app store settings, deleted app store preferences, and some other things from this website (some I couldn't do as well). If anyone has other ideas I'm all ears
