I am unable to connect my phone with my mac with bluetooth.. Neither is my hotspot there

Welcome to the forum.
We need a touch more info if you don't mind. What phone (iPhone, or other, and which model, running what OS). Your MacBook Pro is running which OS and is how old (or new).
Is it just a Bluetooth problem—for example have you tried to connect via USB? And, I presume, when you do connect, you are wanting to sync with iTunes?
Help us out and we'll do our best to assist.

Never owned a Galaxy phone, but here are two links to (a) an Apple Support Forum and (b) to an Android Support forum which should guide you. The Apple one has links to a YouTube tutorial.
