Two Spotlight icons in menu bar

There are two Spotlight Search icons now appearing in the menu bar.

Has anyone encountered this problem before? How can I get rid of at least one of them!

Check your startup items and make sure you don't have a random spotlight process listed in there.

It was a menubar app called MagiCal that was causing all this non sense. Deleted and cured.
